Yours will hit if using HQ mounts. When the torrie engine mounts are used the pacemaker 5260 clear everything in the engine bay.

I cut my passenger side just at the end of the 2 into 1 on both sets that side...just above the rear crossmember arm.
The drivers side was hard up against the floor and touching the arm that ran to the rear under the drivers feet.
You will need to slot the drivers side..heat it and pull them down then reweld...passengers side..get it up on a hoist at an exhaust shop..get them to reweld that side back on missing everything.
Its not a big drama but for $80 and dicking around getting it there it was worth it in the end. Hope that helps..mine are 5272...the big HQ muthas...

They have dual humps on them, and dont take to much to make fit.
Have one in my LJ and will be fitting one to my LH when i get serious with it.
Cheers.

Where do they (5260) actually hit. and by how much. I am looking at buying a set of these for my set up. I have inj heads, VR starter, T56 box, and Russel pan.
Iwould be interested in feedback before I hand over the folded. Also, is there clearance for the dipstick?
Cheers, Max

From the drivers seat. L/H hit on the k frame, R/H hit the rectangle steel plate by the steering rack. I had to grind some metal off the aftermarket chrome dipstick mount to get the bolts in around the dipstick. After I fitted the Torana mounts the extractors fitted well. I also have a Hi-Energy pan & the R/H side pipes are about 2mm away from the sump. I also have a CRS bell housing with Tremec TKO using internal slave cylinder, so I don't know how these would fit with external slave cyl or ratrap style clutch.
Cheers.

I'd really like to modify some to fit, but its hard to know whether it would work without actually buying some!

We are supposed to be the forefront of Torana R&D.......& the best we can offer is 'might fit'?
ffs, let's get this info right! It may even make a good sticky!

Passenger side is very close to the k frame chasis bolt and will probably hit when revved. other than that ok for that side.
Drivers side I had to remove the flexible coupling and put a another uni joint in , and massively foul on my CRS hydrolic clutch on dellow bell housing. I called them up and two days later they were helpful to come out and say that i have to get it towed to an exhaust shop and have them modified.
Who is gonna pay for that? ya pay $750 for extractors that don't fit. I specifically told them my combo and they said that they will clear. Maby i was speaking Chinese? Im not sure..... My old Genie's had no problems with my red heads. They cleared everything.
I understand that there are lots of different combo's to accommodate for, and everything i read said i would have to modify them, but still. My genies were fine.

So far I have
PH5500 LHS (oe efi head)
1. will clear with late model starter (Bosch p/n tba)
2. will clear knock sensor fitment
3. will clear high volume sumps (high energy & Russell - confirmed)
4. will clear T56 bell housing and Trans
To be confirmed
5. Clearance to K-frame
6. Clearance to other bell housings/trans (I would guess that oe 4sp and tri, t350 will clear - unconfirmed though)
7. Clearance to oe sway bar
Mods required
8. With T56, you need to relocate the O2 sensor bung (confirmed)
PH5500 RHS (oe efi head)
9. has enough clearance to massage dipstick tube into position (unconfirmed)
10. will clear knock sensor fitment (but if fitted to RHS will not allow clearance for dipstick)
11. will clear OE sump
12. will clear T56 bell housing and Trans (slave cyl is internal)
13. wil NOT clear high volume sump (pipe fouls with the RHS)
To be confirmed
14. Clearance to K-frame
15. Clearance to other bell housings/trans (I would guess that clutch mechanisms may foul here- unconfirmed though)
16. Clearance to oe sway bar
17. Clearance to steering shaft
Mods required
18. Remove part of winged section of sump to eliminate foul- this will give approx 20mm clearance, at a loss of approx 400-500 ml of oil capacity
19. Use an inhex screw to plug the block instead of the hex head bolt- to allow maximum clearance for dipstick(refer with item 10)
I have yet to trial fit the eng/trans/extractors in the vehicle (only on the engine stand at this stage), so it is a work in progress.
I have concerns when ppl say it clears, but only by 2 mm, this is not enough between sump and pipe.
Also 'Passenger side is very close to the k frame chasis bolt and will probably hit when revved' reall means that it does not clear sufficiently.
I understand that there are countless combos out there but the more info we have , the better prepared we'll be.
Cheer, Max
