I am currently restoring a LJ Torana and am after the name or ID number of the original gold colour used by GMH.

I also came across this picture on the internet, was wondering if perhaps anyone can identify the colour?... is it the original?

Thanks

Well done mate, so where are the pics?

The slow boat from China sounded very dodgy, a Chinaman living in London sending a cheque from his European holiday to buy a car sight unseen in NSW

Cheers

The whole boat thing was straight up as Rod sent me some of the e-mails to prove his/china mans existance.
I must admit I was also sus about the whole story as well but I took the gamble and came out with a HUGE smile :D

If that is the burnt orange i think its is, the colour is called Autumn Gold and made an appearance on the very late LJ ('74).
I had 2 2doors both dated 1/74 with that colour. It never looked nice no matter how shiney it was
