shipped over in its own container by "Ocean Sky International" ph: 3890 6800 or www.oceansky.com.au $4,125 inc.gst.
Quarantine clean and treatment on arrival $429 inc. gst.
Customs import fees, which are based on the amount you paid for the car, and you need to provide an invoice as proof (I paid roughly $3000). so should be less than that.
Insurance: $450 (I phoned a broker for this as the shipping company was something like $1800 for the same cover). It only covered it while in the container, so as soon as it is on the back of the truck in oz, get the shannons laid up insurance.
Think that was all, there is another old thread on here somewhere about it..

Guys name is Klaus Wermwuth
Tell him that Chris From Clark Equipment gave you his details and he should be able to give you a VERY competitive rate.
either that or try a largish firm like Cornish international, Tristar shipping are in NZ but liase with Cornish to get stuff accross.
Klaus would be my choice, he is small enough to help you out without passing you to 5 different divisions etc.
You need to look at how you are getting it here, because it doesnt drive you will probably need to throw it in a container.
The costs then get larger because you need-
container hire
container delivery to the guys house
Sideloader hire (loading unloading the container)
Then transport for the container back to the wharf
Then shipping fees and insurances (incase the boat sinks etc)
Then any import duties
Then paying the freight forwarder
Then unloading the container etc etc.
So it does work out pretty expensive.
But ring Klaus, (he has an accent) and have a chat, he should be able to sort you out for a reasonable price.
Cheers,
Chris
