Hi all,

I've got a SLR steering wheel, everything is fine except for the splines. They are almost completely worn/stripped off. Has anyone ever had the splines repaired or is this wheel just destined for my shed wall?

Thanks,

HB1200

I'd try some very thin shim brass. also the colum to wheel is tapered as well as splined.

sounds like a lot of time spent with a small triangular file and one of the loctites used to take up bearing clearance....don't use stud lock...I nearly destroyed a column getting a wheel off last week.
