So I thought I would show you guys how the the rear lights came out on my UC, not every one will like them but on my budget I think they will be a good change from the sh$# factory ones I had
(the paint on the car not finished it needs a sand and 2 more coats)
I will not be using any rear bumper and the boot lock has be removed and panelled out flush, hopfully I will get some color on the car in the next week.... if I get the time

I also had a few Questions on my craby and mainfold I have some pic's below the carb is a holley 390 4 barrel vac sec and I am having a bit of a hard time finding a 4 barrel mainfold for it so I have a 2 barrel one that I have an adapter for. I am thinking of trying to port the mainfold to get a bit more air flow though it I dont know if it will help or not , if any has any ideas or advice let me know, the engines a 186 with a worked cam extractors etc

cheers antony

Looks alot better then the standard UC lights! and looks like a professional job, but just in my opinior I think it would look better if the lights were abit bigger, but yea good work

looking good, not a fan of a 4 barrel on a 2 barrel manifold though.

thats look pretty good, Any bigger and it would be a skyline, small looks gud. very different lol

the adapter on that manifold looks interesting... any idea how much they cost? are 2barrel manifolds just as good a the 4 barrel ones?

Looks awsome :spoton:

I like the idea with the lights. I used to have a 390 4 barrel holley on my 202. It was a proper 4 barrel manifold though. Redline make them, torker II or something.

lights are good concept, but too small. i was looking at using holden cruise lights, or corvette.

dont waste your time with that manifold. get the proper 4 barrell.

thanks for the imput guys i am working on a stanless steel trim that goes around the lights that will add a bit to the size I looked at bigger ones but I like the small simple look

I have a 308 that I am rebuilding for the UC but its slow going so the 186 will only be in untill the 308 is ready.

the 4 barrel carb was for the 308 but I thought I would run it on the 186 to get a bit more ponys out of it as it only has a factory mainfold and stromberg right now { not good at all}
so will it work short term on the 2 barrel mainfold or not as I do not want to buy a holley 350 for only 6 months use

cheers agian
