Hi, I've come across what I've been told is a 4cyl. LC with a 6cyl. front put on it. It's a 2 door with some pretty good parts on it. All panels and glass etc look the same as my LC GTR. I can have this car and some LJ GTR parts at a good price. What I want to know is are all the panels and glass and dash pad etc the same between 4&6 cyl. cars.
Cheers, Kelly

:spoton: Basically everything from the firewall back is the same, panels, glass, some trims etc the only main differences is the drivetrain and firewall forward.

They make great donor cars, good score :spoton:

Any chance of some photos and numbers? Not doubting the veracity of the info but it would be useful to know if it has been successfully done, its a question that seems to come up often here.

On the surface this is how it appears, however, the front mount for the rear lower control arms is in a different position (further forward) and is a different shape(smaller) on a 4cyl. It's possible to change the mount, but you would need to set it up on a jig to align everything correctly.

Surfmaster, I'm not picking this up until Easter weekend. I'll post some photos of it after that. ( If all goes according to plan ) :spoton:
