I think it was a letter from some one-eyed Ford supporter, whinging about there being too much GMH content.
I personally thought it quite rude to bag someone elses car, particularly if it is tidy enough to appear in a national publication.

It doesn't say much for SM as a publication to let such verbal diarrhoea get published. Phrases like "Piece of shit" and "crap" dont even belong in the playground.

Ohh for fvck's sake. That L34 was one of the vehicles that got me into Toranas in the first place. Yeah I'm not a fan of Commodores either but there's no need to be a fvckwit about it!

Obviously it was a biased comment from a ford fan.. That L34 we all know to be one of the finest examples out there of a muscle torana and the owner would obviously be very proud of his car....
Only thing i can think of as to the publishing of that comment would be maybe whoever allowed it to be printed is a just an obnoxious ford fan himself..
If that L34 is shit then like the old saying goes, Id rather Eat a Can of Shit than Drive a Ford.

Yeah I agree that a mag that is supposed to be unbiased one way or the other can allow such things to be printed...... says alot about the ppl in control.....

Spose it looks a bit ordinary with the factory wheels on it. It looks much better with either set of his other wheels on it, but the story was all about how the L34 as they left the factory, hence the GTS rims.

Mmmmm I agree. I also don't think SM was biased in posting that comment; they may have had exactly the same stance on the matter as all of us.
P.S. I know it's a big ask, but I never got around to buying that article of SM, would anyone be able to scan the pages on Graeme(?)'s L34?
