Yep, I'm making the trek up for this one with Deb. We're staying Saturday night in Bendigo, and will be at the show on Sunday with the EH Car Club of Vic. Look out for us in a couple of white EH's - we'll have the father in laws sedan and wagon there.

Great show on Sunday.... massive turnout - especially since it was the first one they've run. From what I heard approx 300 cars.

Very highly dominated by the early models - stacks of 48/215's, FJ's, FB-EK's, HD's, EJ's, EH's in particular. Good mix of HQ era, and quite a few Torana's. Only a very small number of Commodores and late model stuff. Plenty of very customised cars, heaps of stuff I've never seen before. Top day.

If I can find time to be bothered, I'll try to post some pics at some stage, but did anyone else go or have photos to share too?

Sounds like we missed a great day - wanted to go but had an assignment due, let's hope the strong turn out sets it on the calendar for next year - we'll definatly go. Hubby would've been in heaven with the early stuff - maybe we can take the EK next yr (if it's on the road :<_<:

)

Ok I've culled about 400 pics down to just over 100.... here's a teaser.. (let's start with the Torana's!!!).

This black hatchback was awesome, my favourite car of the day.

Hell yeah! I'd love to paint my hatch black one day, they don't get much tougher. Agree with mitch, it needs twin pipes. Would also look sensational with a blower out the bonnet

I'm pretty sure the wheels are Boyd Coddington Smoothies. It's funny, I nearly bought the same rims for my sedan many years ago when they had a shop in Bayswater. We even tried wheels on my car and everything, but I didn't take the plunge. They suit the black very well though. Time for more pics....

Has something changed with the way replies work here? Every time I try to ad another reply with more pics, it's automatically combining my reply to my last entry. And then it cuts off the last few photos because it's over the limit! Driving me insane! hahaha.

awesome pics you're pretty handy with a camera! - the other half is drooling over the FB/EK pics, really like the yellow on the second torrie at the top.
