Heya guys.

Ive searched here and Google as to what oil to put in my w58 supra box, with no success. I'm sure that i have seen threads about this in the past too.

Some people say put ATF,but im not to sure?

I had a look on the Penrite site but am not too sure what year the box came out of. I read that they came out of 1984 onwards corona's ,but they are also not listed on the Penrite site.

Also , how much? , i think its 2.5lt.

Cheers Evan.

Yes 2.5L capacity

I researched this a bit because the shift on my one is awful, although some people talked about using ATF it is not recommended and the synchros won't love you for it. The recommended is plain old 75W90 gear oil as far as I can figure.

If you want to spend more money I had Redline MT90 recommended to me and is what I'm using at present, it is a little better but not a huge difference. Don't go lightweight.

2.5 lt if 75w90 looks like the go.

Thanks again

Evan.
