Hi all,

What are some places that have lots of little brass fittings and stuff. I'm hooking up my regulator and adding an in-line pressure guage as well as trans temp guage into the cooler lines and need to do all sorts of little reduces and T's and stuff. I've started calling like air compressor supplies but no one can help so far.

I'm going to keep looking the the phone book etc. but was just wondering if anyone could save me the trouble by naming a place off the top of their head.

Cheers,

Liam.

:fool: Enzed, now why the hell didn't I think of them?!! Pirtek, I can't believe it. Thanks guys, saves me wasting any more of my precious time.

I thought CF were only for nuts and bolts and stuff, never considered them to have this sort of thing, but I'll have a look next time I'm in there.

Cheers,

Bursons, AutoBarn and Repco normally have most brass fittings in stock.

I do remember those adds for Enzed, with the guy getting lost in all the hoses "its a jungle out there" or something I think. As for Pirtek, havn't seen that car at the front for a few months, during the off season :D

I've tried Bursons and that but it was a fairly limited range. I tried to make up a few things with their gear but but its all cheap stuff made by some little asain in his backyard, and trying to match threads was a pain.

But I never thought there'd be so many suggestions, thanks guys. I'll certainly be able to sort it now.

Cheers,

All done and dusted. I just walked into Pirtek, told him what I wanted to do, showed him the thread sizes, and he came back with the bits I needed in less than a minute. Much easier way of doing it and with far better quality parts. Although bit more expensive too, cost me $43 for an elbow, T and hose barb. Turned out to be an expensive little exercise really - $80 just to buy and install an inline fuel pressure guage

Cheers,
