I suspect the outer puller on the balancer has spun, whats the easiest way to confirm this?
If it has spun then this is only the second time its happened, so I would like to replace it with something more suitable, what should I use - does anyone have a part number so I could order one
Harmonic balancer

get yourself a powerbond balancer, they are glued together to stop this, the one i have is a street version rated to 6500rpm, theres also a race version 7500rpm i think it is.

So what would be better, a Romac or Powerbond?

Romac is better if you are prepared to pay the extra $$$.
