I think I already have a dry sump by the looks of the bearings !

Would be funny if it wasn't the normal state of affairs in a motorracing home.

BUT!
I see alot of cheap dry sump setups (for chevs obviously, but adaptable to anything) go through the speedway (sprintcar) circles.
The last swap meet had a shitload of bits flying around at decent prices.
May be worth looking at as a cheaper way to get the setup, up and running.

I have been having a check on ebay, sounds like it is the answer to the problems, or at least some insurance. The Cars is in pieces atm, so I have a bit of time (and no money )to plan it all . Ian Kell is bringing me up a group c sump at xmas to copy, so will make a decision after that, in which way to go. So all in the planning stage right now, and hopefully the Airconditioning installs will fire up soon to pay for it all.
So you had a gated/baffled sump and now want a dry system?

i'm also looking at dry sump, but mainly to remove some oil from the pan, and lower the engine.
Just looking though, other than blowing oil up the dipstick tube, i don't have any issues.

Its dry humped
I have parts of a dry sump system laying around for the datto I will never use
I think the only part that might be any good to anyone else is the tank though

how baffled is your sump, coz they also make some very intricate wet sumps for circuit cars, these are expensive for a wet sump but cheaper than a dry sump.
COME engines were going to make an adaptor plate that bolts to the holden oil pump location, which a dry sump pump could mount to and was drilled to feed oil to the engine. they made one for daryl mcbeths all alloy holden in the magna show car. they still may have the drawings or be able to make one.
