starting up my own business and the statesman is a bit over crowded for a work car so i been hunting around for a ute or one tonner for a while whon this on friday hopefully pick up tomorow

i got it for 600 its a hj its got 14" hotwires it runs no reg lil bit of rust 202 3 on the tree its pertol at the moment if i drop an 8 in ill go straight gas this is gonna be just a work ute so not goin over board unfortunatly it has a banjo diff so might hunt down a salsbury

hha already got the rbate on the stato unless i put it in emmas name but i want to set it up prperly for a v8
ill just right it off on tax anyways

at the moment almost ready to scrap or torch the stato think its done the head gasket again

dunno if ill bother picked up the car last night and it cooked about 15 mins from emmas on the hume

not sure on paint colour could go gunmetal to match torry or a dark metalic blue or just a white or black not sure if any one got any sggestions im all ears

i thought bout orange to would suit the business to being specilising in woodheaters i wanna stick gts flutes in to but part of me says no save the money the other part says do it will lookgrouse

Putting the weld-in flute panels in is surprisingly easy, and it does look grouse :spoton:

Ute Salisbury diffs are hard to find but you buy the weld on brackets on ebay to convert a sedan one.

Don't go black! They get bloody hot, a pain to keep clean and you see every little imperfection! (Remember my old HQ)


White or orange would be good. As you said orange would suit your business.

If you weld in flutes, you have to get a twin headlight front!
