Hi guys , im looking for some help
I have a LJ with HQ front Brakes and im looking at buying a Willwood brake kit online from America,
My question is, Is HQ pattern offset etc the same as say Pontiac, GMC, chevy etc,
They have a kit on summit racing that is a GM kit wondering if this will fit, or do i have to buy say pontiac olds mobile kit etc
I want a 4 piston caliper kit thats why im not looking at the hoppers stoppers kit
Your info would be much appreciated
Cheers Steve

I had a look at 'Willwood' s web site ( a few months back ) there are SO many different brake kits, to fit SO many different US built cars,
it just got too confusing , I gave up on the idea. But, someone may know ..
Or if you know all the dimension you need , you could e-mail 'Wilwood' direct .
Some times the HQ pattern is called a Chev pattern , PCD 5x120.5 mm ( 5x4.75 inch )

Steve steve steve.... sigh
Theres nothing you can buy that will bolt straight on as a kit
If you buy a kit you might be able to use a bit of this and a bit of that but not the whole thing
I don't recall seeing any HQ's or Toranas in LA last time I was there
Can you just buy some calipers and discs and make it fit youself ?
Essentially your going to need a hub , disc, caliper , bracket , hose , pads for either side
From memory you have HQ stubs and all on that....
Do you have new wheels with significant clearance to fit ?
Wilwood calipers can be quite wide and hang over the face of the disc bolting surface and foul the wheels
What size gear you looking at ?
