Im getting to stage where i need the interior for my LC GTR.

What i want to know is has anyone bought trims from either Dash Original, Rare Spares or American Autos?

The A Autos and Rares look the same in the pics so im not sure if they get them from Dash Original or somewhere else, but there is a big difference in prices.

Dash Original want $775 F & R with badges incl gst and frieght whereas Rares and AA are around $580 F & R, big difference, so it would be good to know who has the most original product.

Cheers, Kev

Try and get some pics off him, no one has seen his trims yet in any of the forums, unsure what that means but maybe worth looking into

you are right there dave about eastern auto, they get material made, allthough some of there material isnt exactly the same, they are very good also, but you need to pay $$ for it.

I no this is the wrong thread but there is apparently some new front trims on ebay at the moment...brand new..

I agree about paying $$$$$ if you want the best but the problem is no one has these trims on display so if going by photos is all we have its easy to get disappointed if there not right.
Thats where word of mouth comes into it.

I cant comment on any other trimmers work but my trimmer uses eastern for his trims and puts the carpet on him self. This guy does a lot of GT work and he is really fussy. If easterns trims were not the best he wouldnt use them. Just my 2 cents worth. I can only comment on easterns as they are the only ones ive seen..You will expect to pay more for gtr than xu1 as well..Cheers..phil :spoton:

I dont know why you would pay more for GTR ones , eastern ones dont come with the badgers"

So the price should be the same as xui, trims

The repo gtr badgers are the wrong colour , so you wouldnt want them anyway i would restore an original set , barrys got the red colour code. for the wheel senter caps i think this may be the same colour as the gtr badgers were painted in ?

LC GTR Trims have a silver insert. XU1's do not.

That requires extra material and another step in the process. That would account for extra $$$$$$

I have seen Dash Original trims, he has samples in his office / show room and his gear is excellent, you won't get them in a hurry though.
but you need to supply the metal top pieces and badges
he also does LJ seats (front & rear) now and sends interstate as covers only and will be doing LC after about Feb next year
