Hi all

Hey mate
It all comes down to dollars Kosteki will build you guaranteed horsepower but are very xeee
Kwinana Performance A1 Performance will do a good job then there is 308 performance centre .
There is a forum member on here that has got Boz race engines in his signature that is from Perth.
If you look in Perth Street Car magazine there are heaps of crew that have the numbers on the board.
There is also Pavtek race engines over east with guaranteed horsepower have a look at their website.

1 infact I wouldn't let pump up the tyre on my wheelbarrow
Vlada at VA Mechanical in Jandakot is good too
What do you want to achieve from the motor ?
Drag , Street or circuit ?

Thanks for all your replys!
Not wanting anything over the top in power just something that will be a good cruiser but have some power on tap maybe 300hp or so. Budget is 6-10k but would prefer it to come in at around 8 if possible.
Have got a couple of quotes so far from Kwinana Performance, Kendrick Automotive and KEC. All look as though they will come in around or under the 8k mark.
The torrie currently has a TH350 trans. What level of power would this be able to handle before i would have to start thinking about a TH400?
Thanks

I see 'fatslr' mentioned 'Pavtek' over here in Melb, I've used them and highly recommend their work .

as dave said i used con at balcatta engines, iv heard the 308 shop has good name.
csc in wangara, he has built just about every form of holden 308 that can be built, he can be a bit weird at times but has treated me ok when if had dealings with him.
be careful coz, i like others have been #ucked by most of the so call reputable places, so if you do find someone good stck with them.

I would stay with the turbo 350 as the turbo 400 are to big and heavy for a mild engine.
If your box needs a rebuild i recomend DTM in malaga 9249 9658 Chris is the best around

Con in balcatta seems to get nothing but good reviews so might have to give him a call i think.
