Bending Back Chassis Rail Lip

Hey all, (first of all I didnt mean to write Chassis "RAIL" in the topic) but yea anyway, my front wheels are a little too large and hit on the lip thats at the rear of the wheel well (im sure u all know what im talking about) now i know i just need to bend this over... but my question is what is the best way to go about it since it like curves and stuff? should I make a cut in sections then just attack it with a hammer? or is there a better way

No cuts, just hammer, slowly slowly, evenly top to bottom, the metal will slowly stretch.

I used a 20lb hammer nice large head and did a good job, also had to remodel the rear wells behind the shocks as well to accomodate the wheels.... same hammer.

sounds like you have the same hammer as me GML-31, cos mine did the same jobs as yours!
