Hi,
my 75 lh sl has somethign wrong with it and i dont knwo anyone who knows alot about toranas...
when im in any gear and i accelerate at a cruisy amount the car stutters and there is a bumping/knocking sound below my column shift, somewhere around the gearbox/drive shaft (i really do not know). So i cant just cruise along at the speed limit without the car slightly jumping back and forth. Is this a common problem, or am i in the shit? it just started about 2 days ago. ive no idea why
anybody got any suggestions for me?
something is wrong with my lh :(

very hard to say ....
could be a broken engine or gearbox mount that is making the gearbox or motor hit on the floor of the car or something like that .....
the stuttering sounds like a engine tune problem .... but again its hard to say ....
if its when your cruising that it happens then that would lead me to think its something tuning wise as the mounts shouldn't cause too many dramas at cruising ....
air leaks can cause this sort of thing, but from the info you've given its really hard to give you any real answers.

Have a look at your uni-joints. Get under and see if there is any movement in the gearbox end of your drive shaft.

could b out of tune and with extra vibration your exhaust may have come loose and be knocking.

Hi voler, welcome.
I'd go with all of the above, and don't drive it any further till you find the problem as tail shafts can be fatal.
