I would like to purchase a unisyn as well. Can you purchase them new? They aid in setting all the butterflies to the same possition in multy carb applications.

I can get synchronisers for about $80.
They are a cast round unit with a rubber mounting face and adjustable screw in throat. Graduated vacuum tube is rotatable to accept down or side draught, with a small ball inside.
Use on one carb at a time.

I was in the American autos store on parramatta rd syd and they have a carby balancer on the shelf, cant remember the brand name but it was only about 45-50.
When you hold the airflow meter onto the face of the carb it will give a reading of airflow so you do the same on the other carbs till you have adjusted the mixtures till each carb balances the same, simple idea.

Just got off the phone to the Healey Factory, and they have them for $56excl, so a bit cheaper than I remember.
