Hey Guys,

One of my best mates had his really nice XY Stolen from the Palais Theatre Car Park in St Kilda (Opposite Luna Park) last night (7/12/09)

It was stolen sometime between about 10pm - 2am last night.

He's had this car since he was 17 and is absolutely gutted at the moment!

It stands out,
REGO - WRI 314
It's a Silver Fox XY Falcon 500
MINT tan colour interior
14x7 Globe Wheels
302 Cleveland - Auto
GT Grill, with GT Spot Lights.
GT Tear Drop Mirrors

He is absolutely shattered about this, if you have any information, or see anything suspicious come up on ebay, or see or here anything.

Apparently just missing the stereo, speakers, ignition barrel is all banged up, but other than that, apparently still all ok!

He hasn't seen it yet, so will find out more when he does.

He got the car back last Thursday! It cost him 7k to buy back from Shannons.

We went over Friday night and had some drinks with it... AMAZINGLY it's basically as he left it!!!

It's just missing the sound system and the GT Driving lights... But it came with extras! LOL! It had a commodore spare wheel, an australian flag, new calculator, a welders glove and the steering wheel had been changed (To a different, but basically identical one)

There is a scratch on one of the doors (Looks more like it happened at the impound lot) and you can see scratched paint where they have busted into the car and then the wires where they have hot-wired it.

Oh, and also there was a Ned Kelly Sticker on the rear window! LOL.

Perrin is happy as! The car is going to be parked securely now at his folks place until he can get his finances in order to get it back on the road with a fresh paint job and lots of security!

Thats great news Matt, always good to see someone get their pride and joy returned even if it is missing a few things. What the hell were they thinking though , swapping bits over , stickers ??? Planning on just driving it around and hope never to be seen ?

yeah thats odd. some dumb people out there though.

I remember him talking about this at the drag day, stoked to hear its in good knick...

still makes you wonder where it was the whole time, what adventures it had etc etc.

Did it still have the original plates? or stolen ones?

It had no plates, but not sure when they were taken off...
