
vk v8 fuel pump

was just looking at a mates vk and the fuel pump seemed alot larger than the one on my torry are they a high volume pump?

They are normally in the fuel tank on VK s

nah this one i seen was a manual one on side of the block

my group a had a holley blue but the motor had the hole for a manual pump .. you sure yours wasnt a efi 6?

LV2(304) , I changed the tank to a 93lt, and thats when I found out.

Some VK"s (V8) had an intake fuel pump only which was OK for
standard running around town use, but if you drove them reasonably hard the car suffered from fuel starvation
and alot were then fitted with mechanical pump as well.

Yeh it had that problem around 6000 rpm.
