Hey guys, Im pretty sure Dave (bottledup) got this done a few years ago. altho I dont have any of his contact details atm... So yea does anyone know what kind of place could widen my Simmon B45 Rims? Any rough idea on cost? and will they be able to reset it to any offset I want?

Are they 3 piece rims ? ROH makes the alloy rims for their 3 piece rims - you may be able to buy them from any ROH supplier - not sure if they do them in 15" though which I am guessing are what your Simmons are ?

Or give Alliance RIm Repairs in Wangara a call - they should be able to help you out.

I looked at having this done a few weeks back. [retro wheels]

Cost was $400/rim + $40 for chrome bolts/rim.

They wouldn't sell me the parts, but instead insisted on doing the work.

I have a chance to buy simmons v5's they are all 15 x 8 and 3 piece.

Can I change the width, wheel offset to my specifications and still use have the V5 style as these rims would look hot on my hatch!

You will need to mortgage your kids for Retro to do them..
I just bought and sold for 6 months until I got what I needed...the nuts/bolts need to be torqued up to 40 ft/lbs with a torque wrench..diagonally...they hate you doing it yourself...cuts them out of the $$$..

Just curious, how much would you expect to pay for 4 x 15 inch V5 in good condition with 90% rubber?

Your looking about $250 per offset then around $50 to put it together , if you need a inner and outer to get correct offset then it will be closer to $500 per rim , thats for 17in prices and im not sure if the price difference is that much between 15's and 17's

Im after a set of 5 inch inners for my 17's as the 6in inners are too big and i have had work done through Retro a few times
