In the kit, I got 2 mounts with 18mm dia hole (to go over Tie Rod) and 2 x 22mm dia mounts (for sway bar).
If I've got it right, this will cover me for the connection of sway bar to Tie Rod, but I think I need 2 more mounts for the U bolt attachment....?
can someone please confirm?

.... actually, I don't!should have 8 donuts and 2 logs.
if ya know what i mean.
...are you talking about the Selby type bar in an LJ (front)?
From what I have seen of mine, I don't know where that many mounts would go.....

When you say tie rod I guess you mean caster rod and you're wanting two more U bolts to clamp onto it so there are two per side rather than just one?

here is a few pics courtesy of Andy, of sway bar mounts, don't fuss that they are not off your car, they show the basic setup of the urethane mounts.
You should have 2 logs, or the tubular pieces that the sway bar goes through, these should be with the ubolts.
Then you should have 8 donuts, thats 4 per side or 2 x tops, 2 x bottoms, x left and right . 8.
How does that look.?

Went to install my shiny new Whiteline sway bar yesterday, but I think they have short changed my on the urethane mounts.

Sounds like way haven't changed!!
I bought aWhiteline 22mm front bar for my LJ a couple of years ago from an agent in Perth, got home unpacked it, it was missing 2 "D" bushes & the nuts for clamping to the control rods were metric but the bolts were imperial!!! 1 hour round trip to pick it up, same the next day to getsome bushes (i had some nuts to get me out of the shit) NOT HAPPY JAN!! 1 painfully detailed email to Whiteline that got a rapid phone reply& they sent a complete mounting kit soon after. Quality control??NOT! Frustration?? YES!!!
Stupid thing is i only had it on the car for a bout 2 months then fitted a chassis kit & made some new mounts for the bar but the dip for the extractors (that i didn't need anyway) was just way too low, so I had one made the same shape as an XU1 but with extra mount. No wonder a man drinks!!!

The two most common diff conversions for the Torana would be the Ford 9" and more recently for the budget and weight minded the BW M78 from a R31 Skyline.
This is a thread on the BW M78.

The 18mm and 22mm bushes sit flat side agains each other one with the sway bar through it one with the caster bar through it and they are held together with the two plates around them holding them together with the bolts.
At the back the big thick flat plate goes against the join between the front crossmemeber and the chassis. under that the U bracket with the missing bushes goes and the U bolt goes around the pivit and throught the holes in the U brackeet. Hope this helps.

Drove the car today...went over a peice of road where the bitumen had moved, creating a ridge in the middle of the road... "THUMP"!!! I felt the car lift up.... thought I'd ripped the bar clean off! When I checked it was OK, just took a gouge out of it, and still had some bitumen stuck to it....
At least there's something to protect the exhaust now!

Got the missing bushes from Whiteline, ans installed it on the weekend... fairly simple to do once you work out where it all goes - Ben I think you're being kind about the instructions, they are only slightly better than useless!

ive got mine on backwards( with the bend for the exhaust on the drivers side) if youve got clearance id suggest you do it like that for more ground clearance
