ended up buying it registered for under 1000, one owner berlina with books and 111000 klm's, mint interior and still original spare, have a passion for Vk's having owned a group A, just couldn't let some young fella destroy her.

only a 6cyl efi Garth, gave her a buff and polish on the weekend, never had any repairs and minute bits of rust, all original everywhere.

i too have a soft spot for vk,s still got mine from when i was 18 (stolen and recovered vk grpa grp3) my five year son owns it now and just sits in the garage next to xu1,will start rebuilding it when the xu1 is finally finished
