gday all,

was gonna do a poll on tyres sizes used on Toranas, as i would be interested in finding out what sizes are used the most on this forum.

can anyone tell me what sizes are used on Toranas?

I know LJ is 175/75R13s and 205/60R13s but what other sizes are common options?

Also does anyone on here work at a tyres place? I would be interested in finding out how many sets of 205/60R13s you sell over a year for example

I tried to buy a cheap set of 205/65 13's and the cheapest I could get was $140 per tyre. They said it was a dinosaur size...hence the change to volvo rims.

There are still tyres available in 205/60R13, just you have to pay for them. I know of at least 5 different tyres, and possibly another 2 or three.

From my understanding manufactures of 205/60R13s

Sumitomo (HTR320)
Bridgestone
Yokohama (Y352)
Yokohama
BFGoodRich Radial T/A

Also I believe you can get 205/60R13s from these companys as well

Michillen
Nangyang (not 100% sure of exact name of company on this one)

I spent 21 years in the industry. For every set of 4 205/65R13's we would sell, we would sell around 1000 or more sets of 205/65R15's. Does that answer your question adequately?

And it's Nankang. Stick with Japanese tyres and you won't go too far wrong.
