I bought an lj with retractables, they looked pretty bad. They mounted off the old bolts holes which is fine but they take up room on the floor (especially 2drs) and the back seat was chopped out from being so close.
I guess the only way to do it properly would be to alter the door trim and recess them back into the panel.

I installed retractable belts in an LC GTR 8 years ago.

Standard off the shelf after market belts. Required no alterations what so ever. Just bolted straight on as per instructions.

If you use Klippon retractable seatbelts, make sure you get the belt buckles, not the stalk buckles.

For some reason Klippon thing the LC/Js need stalks for the buckle. This does not fit correctly and will leave you injured if you have an accident with them installed.

I have stalks now, and they dig into my side. Ive been in an accident before (not in the torry) and the bruise that they leave is incredible, i walked like i had a limp for a week and then some.

Yeah I put up pics on the old forum for a 4 Door. I am looking at moving them up the pillar a bit because at the moment I can't move my seat back past them.
