Howdy all, I have a Yella Terra head that I hope to find out what it is suited for. The cast number is 7420081 and cast date is H95. I want to fit a set of roller rockers to this head but am unsure if the studs are 3/8" or 7/16". Any help would be very much appreciated.

Cheers all.....Adam

The most common Yella terra head is the old "Stage 3" or now known as the "Street Performer" head. It is painted yellow...I think it has a 55 cc chamber and will go on any red 6 but the bigger the engine the higher the comp ratio....I thing it gets 9.5:1 on a stock 186 and 202 (they have different pistons, thats why the same comp ratio)

YT heads did come in different types and colour depending on application more info on the yella terra website www.yellaterra.com.au

Wouldnt this depend on whether its a low or high comp head? I forgot to add mine is a stage 3 low comp head. Chamber sizes differ between low and high comp heads dont they?? YT heads are just modified Holden castings I thought. YT dont do Holden 6 cyl heads anymore so there is no longer any info on there site in regards to these.

Unless the studs can be removed with a spanner, they will have 3/8" studs requiring YT5007 roller rockers.
