Well they have their own fuse in box Toranas, do they share it in baby Toranas?
Yank the cluster out and check/clean all the connections, and you can test the bulbs individually if you want

Are you parkers/tail lights working? If not have you checked the fuse? Could be a fault with the dash lights dimmer on the light switch, assuming you already made sure it is turned up?

Hi Adam, I assume you have checked fuses, headlights prob wouldn't work if fuse was blown.
Most likely it's the headlight switch, you know the dimmer thing for your dash lights part of the switch may have a faulty/corroded contact. Other than that might be a broken power wire to the dash lights, Had your instrument cluster out recently?you might have pinched a wire putting dash back in.
Cheers Dave

Hi Adam,
Didn't know Rares made one, quality of their parts is usually pretty good, however that said I always use genuine parts if I can find them. Are you positive that the rheostat or contact in the switch is faulty? Have you bypassed the dimmer with a jumper wire straight to the light circuit? As far as I can remember bulbs are 12v so should be safe to try.
Cheers

Hi Dave,
the contact is broken,i had the switch out so i could look at it properly. That copper contact wasnt making contact so i bent it a tad so it did.
Still nothing so i bent it around a little more and it snapped.
I can get a NOS one but it will cost me but as its just a switch i will get one from rares for $40.
I had power to the switch, test light confirmed,so tomorrow i will buy a new one and see what happens.
Cheers,Adam
