It's on Again The Classic & Musscle car club of Ipswich is holding another club drag day at Willowbank on the 10 of April 2010, cost to race is $50 on the day that will get the Driver & one crew person in the gate, to spectate it will be $20, please be at the gate by 1.30 as gates open at 2.00 & we want to be organised.
There is a test & tune on the day starting at 4.00 you are welcome to stay & keep racing for no extra cost
Make sure you have long pants, long sleeved top, covered in shoes & a Helmet.

Yeah no problems Tony, all ways welcome, helps make up the numbers, there should be a few race cars heading to the test & tune later on in the arvo as there is a major meeting the following weekend & the 10th being the last chance of testing it should be a good test & tune to hang around & watch the racers if your not taking a car out for a skid, evern still you could always run the club day then watch the test & tune, now our Torana is up & running again we'll be taking it out for some testing our selfs.

Just rock up Zac, its open to anyone on this forum as well as others. I believe kids under 13 are free, same as normal Test and Tune admission prices. Might be worth having a look on Willowbank website to verify though.

I got to the track only to find the battery on my camera was flat (I should have checked before going). A mate from the QTCC took a heaps of photos which I am waiting for him to send to me. Once I have them I will post them up.
I saw a few familiar faces out there and heaps of Torana's as well. Wayne had the front wheel up on most runs, Pete's car was running decent times, Zac's car looked awesome on the track and Jeff seemed to be going for the longest Powerskid title !!
Another great day put on by Wayne and crew. Cant wait for the next one.

Big thanks to all the Guys & Girls from the GMH-Torana web site for coming along & having fun at our drag day, hopefully every ones cars went home in 1 peice with out any broken parts.

Big thanks to Wayne for letting me join in on the day. Had alot of fun, Just need to get mine running like Waynes I think.
Looks like I may have found the ongoing problem with my car so now I can work on sorting it out.
Still had alot of fun skidding the thing though
Only spotted Big T once though as I went around for a run.
