I was there pit crewing for my mate on his yellow LH SLR.

The burnout comp was rigged, now thats a sad day for WSID... :<_<:

All these guys towed in their blown methanol sucking purpose built burnout cars (14MILE, ASASIN, RHYNOS etc) who pushed them to the absolute limit and they gave it (it being $1000 cash prize) to the boyfriend of the commentator..

Him being able to even win is borderline corruption but the fact that it was one of the worst burnouts of the night really nailed the coffin shut. Even my mate did a better job than him in his LH.

I heard the RYHNOS was very happy he did not win, I have seen this car on many occasions and this is a awesome piece on machinery.............yes the burnout comp is rigged

I hope dazza had fun, the damage looks a tad expensive especially if he has to pay people to fix and paint it, wont be too bad if he is handy I guess.

Dazza only did a best of 14.0 which was extremely disapointing. It should do 12s. He just changed manifolds and it was running worse than before (13.7). He's getting a dyno tune soon so hopefully next time it's happy.

The car had only been painted about 3 weeks before the damage too. Luckily it was a backyard job (bloody top job though), so they're gonna fix it up. I had a spare flare peice which he's already painted up, he's just gotta fix the guard up now.
