Howdy,

Following on from the Munchies topic there seems to be a little bit of interest in this run.

All GMH-T members are welcome to join the QTCC this Sunday for a picturesque run through the Tweed Valley with a lunch stop at the Tumbulgum Tavern.

Details and route are as follows:

Sunday 21st Feb
Tweed Heads Hinterland

Meeting at BP Yatala from 10:00AM for 10:30AM departure.

Cruise to Nerang where we will then head off into the hinterland and cruise through the Tweed Valley. Lunch at Tumbulgum.

I have booked the pub for 50 people and we expect to be at the Tumbulgum Tavern by around 12:30pm QLD Time.

Ando - If we leave Yatala at 10:30 we should be at Nerang around 11am. We will be coming off the M1 and going through Nerang (Price St) on the way to Nerang-Beaudesert Road.

On Price street there is a small shops with a Civic Video and Amcal Chempro Chemist (end of Tibbing St) that you can meet us at if you like. The map is HERE Let me know if you reckon this is a good place to meet. I have your number so I will give you a bell as we head into Nerang. Otherwise, give me a call on 0410 032 727.

my car is back off blocks and I am throwing a new gearbox and radiator in Ross's tomorrow so he can come, not sure I will be driving now however as my left foot found my glasses on the ground today and I am not happy with the temp pair, so may be just coming for the ride.

Can someone wack up the actual address of the BP Yatala so I can stick it in the GPS. Did a search on google maps and cant decide which one to go to ..... Or how far from the Yatala Pies, I know this one "blush"

Paul, the address for BP Yatala is a PITA to find and I havnt been able to find it yet. However, it is on the service road that intersects with Stapylton-Jacobs Well Road. For GPS reference you could plug in 1 Christensen Rd, Stapylton QLD 4207 which is across the road (pretty much). Anyway, it is the same exit as Yatala Pies if that helps (the pie shop is on the other side of the highway).

Heading south it is fairly well sign posted just after Beenleigh. Look for "Service Centre" signs.

Steve - No idea exactly how many cars but it has been a "talked about" run so I am expecting at least 20 cars.

I had a few mates down at Tumblegum out on the water who said the group of Toranas was awesome.
I'll have to come for a drive on a future run.
