I am looking at a new GPS. I have a garmin street pilot and was hoping to get another garmin and put the free update onto my old gps, can I still do this now or have they changed the rules ? ?
I have however found this one with wireless reverse camera. Its not a garmin tho, but at the price it may be worth getting and biting the bullet and paying full price for update map to the garmin.

Funny, that long black "cable" coming out of the camera must be an antenna because wireless to me means no wires ha ha ha.
FWIW most of these ebay items give no trouble but there is not much support or recourse when they do.
Ask many questions and study feedback carefully is all I can add sorry.
FWIW sometimes these things don't even come with instructions, as I said, don't take anything for granted, ask, ask and ask any possible question.

I just bought a new Eclipse double DIN unit for my Cross8. It's a GPS, reversing camera, DVD, MP3, radio, monitor etc. I haven't put it in yet. It was about $2,000 though.

The wires from the camera connect into the reverse lights. When reverse is engaged the gps unit in the car switches to rear camera view instead of map view, as soon as reverse is disengaged the unit goes back to normal map view.
pretty clever i reckon.

Dad purchased one of the similar wireless cameras off Ebay a while ago. ( Against my advice I might add)
From the day it went in the thing screamed its head off as soon as it was put in reverse, You couldn't see a thing out of the first camera they sent ( I knew it was not snowing behind the ute) . They sent a replacement camera that was better but still not perfect. He just put up with the crap picture and noise.
Then a week later the power cord dies and the whole thing won't work. New power cord takes 2 weeks to get here.
Overall the unit isn't very good at all. It freezes if you try to reverse with the GPS on, like it runs out of memory.
For the mucking round, I wish we went with a quality unit from the start. Less hassles, better picture, more useable and overall just better quality.
