What 60foot time did you pull for your 11.8 and with what gear ratio? Just curious.

Well abit of an update!

Had a the torry on the hoist the other day and F U C K M E i noticed i had twisted the lower diff mounts :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:

This would explain why the ET streets were rubbing the guard when not going in a straight line!

I when for a quick squirt to try out some road tyres i bought about 4 months ago (been frOcking slack) , i had a bad vibration in 1st & 2nd at low speeds

I was pretty sure i had twisted the chinese shit slip yoke!  Yep! i had to use a FBH & drift to get it out of the box!

So some serious decisions need to be made!

After some research, i bought some diff mounts off McDonald Bros racing (thanks to the guys on here talking about them cose i was gunna make them). Torry mounts are 2.2mm thick, Mcdonald ones are 4mm

I settled on a TREMEC TKO 600 from Promotion in the US with their Ensure shift improvement & a Pro50 shift, i dont want to cut the tunnel but i'm frOcking sick of destroying gearbox/drivelines so if need be BRING ON THE GRINDER !!!!!

Bellhousing from Mal wood

I ordered a Chromoly slip yoke from Summit.

Anyway when i removed the diff to have the mounts fitted i noticed oil in the rear hole that isn't plug welded from the factory. Further inpection found that the 2 plug welds on the driver side were cracked   & the 2 welds around the tubes were both cracked!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

:banghead: :thebird:   :shoot: :banghead:

No wonder a bloke drinks!!!!

A mate gave me another VL housing thats now cut down, heavy mounts fitted, fully welded tubes (slightly different than last time).

Waiting for it all to turn up now. Dont think i'm gunna get much racing early this season.

I'm going back to all rubber bushes except the top body mount cose its adjustable and boxed lower trailing arms. Trying to soften the impact i suppose. Gunna be awhile before i get the Tremec in cose i'm slack! Is yours manual or slush box?
