ive just noticed some overspray from the painter on my wheels.

they are roh wheels with the factory coating (powder coat?) and im looking at cleaning off the overspray without removing the other paint.

any ideas? anyone done this before?

if it was me I would ask the painter what he recommends in case something goes wrong. I know by the fact some arseholes who sprayed graffiti on my colourbond shed that acrylic thinners removes spray can enamel. Do you know if it is 2pac or acrylic overspray?

I would be A; Asking ROH for advice and B; Asking the painter to fix it.

Will a claybar not work for this? i know it removes overspray from paint and windows, but i have never used it on a rim.

But id say claybar will be your best bet as its safe for paint does not remove clear coat only wax or polish in the area, so just give it a quick lick with some polish once your done
