Click on start button/programmes/accessories/paint then select the picture you want and finally click attributes to resize it. A bit of practice doing this will give you the knowledge to make it a very simple task.
This will resize your pics.
Of course there are many other programmes that do this aswell but at least this one is part of windows.

But it is amazing how many 'part time users' are not aware of what Windows does include in its O/S package.
Burning is another that readily comes to mind.

Then click on to Mail Recipient then you will get a little pop up that ask you if you want to resize your pics for fast viewing say yes.
Then outlook will open a new email then you will see all your pics in the attachment bar so right click on one and go select all then go copy and save them in a folder on your desktop then close the email and dont save changes and dont save on clipboard.
Then you will find that the pics are perfect for web viewing and a good size for sending to people.

You can get it here
Then all you need to do is right click on the picture you want to resize and select from the options. It's basic, works well and best of all it's free!
