Argon or Argo shield

gday i was wondering if someone could answer this question please.

does it matter if i use argon instead of argo shield for car panel welding ????

Try it and see what it does apart from being more expensive I can't see why not. I use and prefer argoshield lite for panel work its cheaper and recommended for welding mild steel sheetmetal. Hope this is of some help.

Argoshield is a gas mix, generally with CO2.

Argoshield 51 denotes it is a 51% argon 49 % co2 mix for example

I use argosheild in my mig and tig....aparently not meant to use it for the tig...but it works fine.

I use argoshield lite in the MIG and argon on the TIG. Argoshield is around $90 a D size bottle, and, Argon is $120ish. Haven't bought any bottles for a while.
