has your mate changed his diff ratio for this event?
Na but hopefully he has made some changes to the clutch and it now uses a dog box, the gear changes are almost instant.
At the end of the day this event is used to test things for him as its a circuit car thats evolving.

Dam shame mate, it will be worth the wait to see a 9 second street torana at our track(I assume it still WOF standard), we have seen a few 10 second street toranas but I cant remember seeing a 9 second one yet
I wish you were closer as I would help ya
Thanks for letting us know mate.

Ya it WOF & REG. I just have to learn to drive it again!!!!!!! The old 308 made 380hp & I squirted 125hp of nos in it giving just over 500hp all up & it ran a 10.6 @ 125.5mph. New motor (chev) aprox 600hp & have up to 300hp nos to squirt in it!!!!!!!! So it will come down to how much hp I can get down on the track, should be fun.The problem is I'm sceared of the thing!!! & I hav'nt put any nos in it yet & it can still skid the wheels @ 100mph with the street tyres on. Time will tell & as they say "when the flag drops the bullshit stops".

Not sure but the RIPS 240z with RB30 comes to mind as a quick street car, I think before it turned into a drag car it was running 8's then it went wild and finished in the 7's

The Ripz car had 1100hp in street trim at 27psi 7900rpm, I just checked and they were running mid-low 8's while it was street legal. http://www.youtube.c...feature=relatedMAN thats quick!!!!!!!

After this meet I have some things to do around the house then make some more room in the garage and pull all the suspension apart including diff and reset/replace then pull the engine apart to check the internals before setting it up for some sprint/circuit fun while keeping it road legal and will only drag it when I feel like it then.
Make sure you let me know if you do so I can get plenty of pics and vids of it.

Well the XU1 ran well again in the mph stake @ 115mph but managed only a mid 12 and then broke an axle.
I made the team of Musclecars and I won 3 from 3 against an early model Evo, I also got the hole-in-one of drag racing and ran a 0.000 light after running 0.122, 0.166 and 0.207
Other than that I never ran anything special.
RESULTS
SILVESTER PERFORMANCE / JAPANESE RACING IMPORT /MUSCLE WARZ
After three rounds of hard out racing the Import team won the day by one point!
Congratulations!
