I would like to remove my charcoal cannister but at the same time keep the old girl within the law. Is there a modern system that can be retro fitted and hidden?

I used a Mitsubishi 380 canister & mounted it under the R/H guard behind the headlight.

I used a vn/vr commodore one, plus the vacuum lines(fitted about the same place as the commodore). The lines look a lot better than rubber hoses, but if u mount the canister under the guard the stock lines might not be long enough.

I've heard someone talk about the VR SS ones perhaps? Something nice and compact. All Commodores of that era are presumably the same in the carbon canister department

To follow the letter of the law the cannister would need to be from a vehicle with a fuel tank the same size or larger. Some people with drop tanks have be forced to fit two canisters.
