Can anyone recommend a good spraypainters in Perth. I'm looking at draging the torrie to Perth to get resprayed later on in the year. Just trying to get some idea of who out there does a good job. Any ideas on how long a complete respray would take?

I know plenty of painters but you asked for a good one

I have found a young kid just out of his apprenticeship to do mine. When the body is all prepped and ready. He's just a painter
Stupid idea really. A painter that won't do body prep.
I have a mate the same... paints only (but he's a drunk so I won't recommend him)

Does it need bodywork or just a rub and paint ?

Expect the car to be in a paint shop at least 6 mths for body and paint to a good standard

I would do it myself, but I just dont have the space to do it, plus I'm in a rental house, so its not mine to get overspray everywhere

Just thought I'd ask, cause you never know someone out there might have found a good one. Is this any easier to answer, who do I definatly stay away from? My budget for the body work is $10-15 grand so Im after a pretty good job to get done

hey shanegtr, i have emailed my mate to get the business name and number for you so you can have a talk with them and see how busy they are. looking at the pics of your car it should come up a treat for the 10 to 15 you was talking about.
like other threads have mentioned they get abit funny if you want it painted in acyrlic, but your paying and the customer is always right. let you know when i get an answer(hopefully before i go of shift tonight)

Do Yourself a favour and go visit sean at Impact in malaga. Mine is booked in for there cost about $16k for bare metal & rotisary. But have a look at the blue mercury that was on the front of street machine a month or two ago. that was his work, The other cars i have seen in there have all been very high quality.
