has anyone replaced the weather strips on their hatch doors? Ive manage to only get in on of the strips, the clips dont seem to catch on properly. Ive tried to open up the clips but they dont want to stay in?

my mate had the same problem where the clips wouldn't hold them in tight enough so i got some plastic golf tees and grinded them to a wedge shape and pushed them into the hole in the clip, but it is a 2 man job. Hope you understand this.

the ones he had .. had a small hole in the clip bit, what you are pushing into the hole in the door and we slid the tees into them. the hole isn't much bigger than a matchhead.
