Just Bought my first Torrie, an LH SL Sedan. on my first night outing with it, have discovered that the hi beam warning dash light is always on, the foot dipper switsh was replaced for RWC. at the headlights the wiring is plain crimp connections, Could this be part of the problem. any ideas welcome, the light is annoying, but i could live with it, if it cannot be solved.

Are the lights dipping properly? E.g both low beam then both high beam? Or does it go one hi the other low and visa versa as you dip? If so one headlight had been wired wrong and the high beam lamp on the dash is getting a constant feed.

Does the indicator light go off when you switch to high beam?
By the sounds of the 'crimped' connections at the headlights it may be that the high beam and low beam terminals have been swapped.
Should be:
1.The top/middle terminal(brown) is for low beam.
2.Terminal on right of the car is for high(green).
3.Terminal on left goes to the body(black)

If the colors match up, try swapping terminal 1 with 2 above and see what happens.
