Hey guys, Im putting the battery in the boot of my LH, I got a battery box and want to put it on top of the diff hump but the box is too wide and sticks out from the hump 100mm or so... So just gonna make up a bracket coming up from the boot floor level then bending 90' so its level with the diff hump...

1 end of The battery clamp will actually be bolted to this bracket and the bracket welded to the floor, Im just wondering what thickness mild steel sheet I should use? 2mm, 3mm? It has to hold the weight of the battery and overcome the G-forces of cornering etc so thought Id better check, dont want my battery rolling around.
