Ok here we go this is my frist car project and i have always love cars (TORANAS) so i am going to put up weekly photos of my progress and feel free to comment as i dont know everythink and could use some help

What are your plans for it? Engine, trans, flared or not, colours, any tricky mods. etc.

The lower black dash panel you have is worth a small fortune if it has not been cut for a stereo and is in good condition. If you intend to fit a stereo you would be better off selling your current dash.

Cheers mate yeh i wont to keep it im going to hide my stereo in the dash cause i love the straight look it has

this was how the car looked after i striped it down uncovering any little secerts that may hide under neith

So that this stage its still looking pretty good



Than i got onto the inside oif the car and striped it out and i was happy with this it was in good nick

Than i drop the front stearing rack out of the car and started to clean up the engine bay

So after i done that i decided to take out the front and rear windows and look what i found

I put a hold on the windows and made a start on the engine bay knocking out all dents and smoothing over the welds and laying the first coat of primer

I also decided to smooth out the lip in the engine bay cause there were ugly welds along it and i thought it would give a smoother look

And i also removed all the old sound deader as it was already falling off in places

Now that i have the painting bug i prep the shell of the car which was farly straight and gave it its first coat of primer

As you can see i dont have that much room where im working im living at my mums untill i can save some cash for me wedding than i can go back home to my nice concrete garage??
But you may have notice that i have some nice fake grass i picked up from work and let me tell u it was fun trying to get it under the car while it was still on stands but heres how i did it

Yeh i started this project on the 14th march and just trying to catch up with phots of where im up to now but there has been a couple of late nights but in the end it will be worth it

Now it was time for under the car i got some under car paint and away i went

There is a bit of work to do on this one but i still love it this one my plans are way out there i am going to play around with the lights and new custom dash and just thinking of joing the flares to the gards ars one piece but yeh this car i am learning as much as i can with the LX and than let lose on this carPosted Image

I have just sat them in there just for the photo and i prime them cause there going to be painted black as they were silver of grey when i started

I just looked too u carnt really see the masking tape over the light parts
