I'd like to do something different with the headlights on an LX - I'm trying to work out a way to put a double set of round headlights on, without screwing up the grill.
A friend suggested HR or HX premier headlights with a UC front grill - may be able to bolt straight in, given the size of the normal UC headlights, but would probably be too wide with the Premier grill.
Anyone tried this or anything similar?
Anyone know what it would look like?
I wouldn't do it if it looks shyte!

I would make up a pair of cardboard mock ups and put them in first. Take a few steps back and see if it is the effect your looking for. The distabce between the top of the bumper and the top of the grill may make it look out of proportion but having said that the bezels off HJ are quite big and may give the illusion required.

maybe you could replace/graft the torana nose cone with a late model prem (HZ or similar) nose cone
might be a bit of rooting around, but i have toyed with this idea before - could look good
perhaps get someone on the forum who is good with photoshop ( i suck ) to do a mock up

Yeah, I really need to get a photoshop image done - I've asked a friend who has too much time on his hands, and he knows what I'm after, so I just have to wait for him. I think I also need to measure up some headlight/ grill combos, just so I can find out what (if any) will fit.

I remember seeing one here in adelaide.
rekon it was a cut down hz front with a shortend grill,Xa-b-c ford bonnet scoops and i think it had Vh? commodore tail lights.very different lookin
