Hello all, i was wondering if anyone could help me find a TV ad from the 80s (i think), the said ad featured a bloke called "lucky Phil", he was pictured in a blue lj gtr, placing a for sale note on it. Ive had a look and cant come up with a result, anyone have a clue where i could find it? thanks in advance.

maybe i posted in the wrong section, if so could the mods move it for me. Thanks

I know the ad you mean mate. It was for drink driving and Lucky Phil gets pulled for an RBT. Not sure which state the ad originated from but it may have been a TAC ad? I had a look but I cant find anything on youtube or elsewhere.

i know the ad i found some lucky phil ads but not the one your after maybe try messaging the person that put the lucky phil ads that are on you tube he may just have the one you want

Or contact Channel 9 in Vic. When the ad was popular they used to use the voice over & bits of the ad for "lucky Phil" the camera man on Hey Hey It's Saturday (when it was on Sat Morns).

Voice over:
This is lucky Phil.
He usually has a few wins at the races, the odd small lotto win, he has even won a few meat trays at the local pub.
Most nights after a few at the pub Lucky Phil gets home fine, but tonight, Phil's luck has run out.
He has been pulled over for a random breath test!

Think it was from was from one of the first drink-drive ads for the Victorian government (the unfortunate drink-driver was named Lucky Phil)
