i am hoping to do a efi 5 litre and 5 speed conversion into my lx hatch. just wanting to know how much further back the shifter will sit that the stock aussie 4 speed one i have now? have heard its a bit of a hassel to put a t5 in and that a supra box is alot easier? am i better off going for a supra box? i dont really want a turbo box since they have crap ratios that dont really suit v8's compared to the t5's. any info would be great.

I have measured the difference between aussie and T5 for 6 cyl and there is about 1 inch in it.
