I'm thinking about buying a set of mags for my LH Torana SL. Will a set of mags off a VB Commodore fit? I did read the earlier post about not fitting commodore mags to old holdens I just need someone to comfirm this.

Yes they will, if they are off a 4cyl commodore.
I won't guarantee the offset will suit tho, never tried them but makers such as ROH made a few.
6 & 8cyl use a different stud pattern.
