Hi,
here are some pics of the pipes dad and i made took 30hrs to get them to that stage only tacked atm they are only mild steel but will be getting coated we used a set of burns collectors and megas and reverse cones they put the engine combo through there program and gave us a length they had to be.

Leyland made an overblock cam diesel motor.
The head was integral with the block.

Looking good mate. I love nostalgia drags. Good seeing another FED with a flat head V8. Nice work!

Super nice pipes Hayden. I'm about to start building a set for my FED. I'm not looking forward to it after seeing your result with 30hours invested already.

Your engine is blown isn't it? Be interesting to see the power variation with these pipes. If looks counted for anything you should be making heaps more power. They are a trick se of pipes

Well done

Brett

Very nice work guys, I do high end vehicle work like this for a living and that's a premium effort. Well done! If the engine is aspirated I predict more midrange power from those pipes than with the zoomies with no loss (or possible gain) in top end power. If it's blown the zoomies will likely show an advantage, assuming everything else is right and they are sized correctly.
Once again, congrats on the nice workmanship.
