I have been waiting for Malwoods to ring me back but has been a few days so was wondering if there is anyone else that does these conversions. Any tips or help would be greatly appreciated

i did have some probs, to be expected from aftermarket parts in odd ball cars. i didnt like the angle the gearbox with the crossmember they sent me, rear of the gearbox looked too low. i actually ended up using the xmember from my supert10, which lifted the box about 20-30mm.
i also did the job of cutting the top of the trans tunnel. i welded in a bent section to lift and widen the top of the tunnel.
now the original setup from mal wood is designed not to cut the tunnel, but if you experience vibration issues then i would seriously look at going the extra length of cutting the tunnel.
if your handy with a mig welder and an angle grinder, cutting the tunnel sounds harder than it is, to do it.

gday, i have just fitted a tko 600 from mal wood into my 4 door. the shifter that came with it will go up the original shifter hole.

Ok thats not to bad then .Thanks very much on replying, the only downside i can see with lifting the tunnel is that it will lift the console up , let me know if you are happy with box

I have a TKO in my hatch and didn't cut the tunnel, I had some vibrations at first but sorted them by a spacer to raise the trans just a tad more only moved it up by 8mm and fixed the problem in the end. It would be easy with a 308 due to them being lower in the chassis.

Thanks for the photo its looks nice and neat in there . Not much room for the extractors by the looks of the photo, are you running a floor mounted hand brake (uc style) .
Nice job on the chasis rail extensions you can hardly notice them ive been thinkin of doin that to mine when it goes back on the rotisserie
