Hey everyone,

Just letting the Coasties know to double check your cars are locked away safe at night. Some scumbags have tried breaking into a Garage in the area to pinch a Torana. They knew which roller door to break into and were very quiet as no one heard a thing and all surrounding houses have dogs.

Cheers

Josh

Disarm you cars in the shed boys... And if you hear a noise check... If you find the scumbags.... Hang them by their testicles from the roof... then call the cops.

After having caught a car theif before...it is a waste of time calling the cops....I say flog the sh1t out of them and dump them in the forest...see how long it takes to walk back on broken legs.

And go to jail for your stupidity. And how would you connect 3 phase, it wouldn't work.

once read about a bloke that added a spark plug to the underside of his fuel tank on his fully insured harley, everytime he parked it anywhere, he'd swap the plug lead from motor to "anti theft" device. something ya wouldnt want to forget youve done before firing her up!! LOL

On the underside that wouldn't do anything except maybe fry the boys against the tank on ignition.
You need vapour to ignite the fuel not solid fluid.....

grant..

Mate of mine used to set up an electric fence unit on his car when he was away fishing.
Had a remote to turn it on and off.
Enough juice to deter would be thieves, but not enough to kill them.

If theives really want your car, they'll find a way to get it. One anti-theft deterant a mate had for his HT Monaro & Harley was to have his two Rottwielers sleep in the shed with them.

I used to live at Ettalong and work around Woy Woy when I still a mechanic. I set my garage up at home and one night trailered the XU-1 back from my parents place. At 2am we drove down the back lane and rolled the car into the garage.
About a fortnight later I was buying stuff at Barts Parts and ordered an XU-1 muffler. Immediately the cronk standing beside me asked if it was for the one in XXXX Ave.
Sorry to the people still living there but I was sooooo glad to move away.

I often worry about the same thing, the amount of tmes Ive just noticed cars in garages is pretty scary, and Im not a thief looking to steal them!

Ive got a big dog, and a ute that doesnt move (at the moment) infront of the shed.

Plus all the sensor lights for night time.

Was just wondering if it was close to home. Theres a few torries on the coast that are just left in front yards over night. Theres no way i could sleep if mine was sitting out front for all to see
